.Either reading level can use either quest type.
.Twelve episodes walk Genesis 1โ11 โ from the formless deep to the calling of Abram.
.Follows the Genesis narrative with literal-six-day surface treatment and one literary-note acknowledging Day-Age and Framework readings as alternative Christian positions.
.Curious how this content is framed? Read our curriculum approach โ
Genesis is where the classical-Christian curriculum starts its history timeline โ the first text a student meets, before Rome, before Greece, before anything else. It anchors the questions of origin, order, and purpose that every later subject circles back to: who God is, why the world is ordered the way it is, and what human beings are for. Reading it carefully here pays off in every subject that follows.
.It rewards a careful reader. Genesis 1โ11 is built on patterns worth noticing โ the refrain โand it was good,โ the naming of things, the day of rest that closes creation before anything is broken, the long arc from Eden to the Flood to Babel. A student who tracks those patterns is practicing the kind of close reading Scripture rewards everywhere else.
.We teach the text, not a debate about it. The game follows the Genesis narrative in its own words โ Hebrew vocabulary, NKJV memory verses, illustrated scenes โ and stays with what the text says rather than arguing a side in questions Christians disagree on. It's also honest about the weight of the material: the Fall and the Flood carry real loss and real judgment, and the game doesn't rush past them.
