The Kingdom of Classical Learning
Classical Quest helps classical learners practice Latin, geography, keyboard fluency, and memory-heavy subjects with steadier routines and less friction.
Classical Quest was formerly known as Via Latina.
We built Classical Quest at our own kitchen table in Colorado because daily review was harder than it needed to be. Flash cards got lost. Quizlet decks were inconsistent. Videos were passive. We wanted one place where our students could practice the material that mattered most โ and have more reason to come back.

It started at our kitchen table. Flash cards scattered everywhere, a laptop open to three different Quizlet decks, and a young student who just wanted to be done. We knew there had to be a better way.
Classical Quest is built for classical education families โ from Grammar Stage memory work all the way through Rhetoric Stage Henle Latin. It uses spaced repetition, Latin tutoring, and curriculum-aligned content so your student can practice smarter, not just harder. Works alongside classical curricula, co-op memory work, and Latin programs.
We believe classical families deserve tools built around their curriculum. Not generic flash card apps. Not expensive tutors. A purpose-built companion that aligns to Henle Latin lesson-by-lesson, covers Grammar Stage memory work across 8 classical subjects, plus typing practice, and uses steady repetition to turn first exposure into repeated review.
Classical Quest is made by a small family-run studio in Colorado focused on thoughtful tools for families and educators. We are a classical homeschool family ourselves, and we use Classical Quest with our own students every week.
We are committed to keeping Classical Quest affordable, private, and aligned to the values of the classical education community.
A Kingdom to Explore
Eight realms of classical learning, each with its own character, challenges, and rewards.
Quests, Not Worksheets
Every practice session is a mission. Complete quests, earn badges, and watch your kingdom grow.
Streaks That Matter
A growing flame rewards consistency. Marcus celebrates milestones and encourages recovery.
A Guide Named Marcus
A Roman scholar who introduces each realm, reacts to achievements, and never lets a student feel alone.
Classical Quest adapts to your student's developmental stage. Younger Grammar Stage learners experience audio-first navigation with large tappable targets and minimal reading. Older Grammar Stage students build structured routines around memory work, grammar, and Latin foundations. Logic and Rhetoric Stage scholars engage with Henle Latin, formal logic, rhetoric, and advanced academic tools โ all within a cleaner, more prestigious interface.
Classical Quest adapts to your student's developmental stage โ not just their age. Each stage feels intentionally different because students learn differently as they grow.
Ages 4โ12
Audio-first, big tap targets, kingdom exploration. Young minds absorb facts through repetition, songs, and adventure. The app reads aloud and celebrates every step.
Ages 12โ14
Why and how questions emerge. Students connect Latin grammar to English, debate logical fallacies, and practice Henle translation. The tools match the growing analytical mind.
Ages 14โ18
Expression and depth. Advanced Latin translation, formal debate, essay prep, and SAT/AP readiness. The interface steps back so the student's own voice can lead.
