The Weekly Support Path
Classical Quest is designed to support the days between meetings: a little new material, a little old material, and a clear signal when a subject is ready to recite.
After Community Day
Start with the facts your student just heard so the week has a clear first step.
During the Week
Short review sessions keep earlier weeks alive without turning practice into a second school day.
Before Proofs
Recitation-style practice shows which subjects are confident and which need another pass.
Classical Conversations (CC) is a national homeschool community program that uses a classical, Christian approach to education. Families gather weekly in Community Day groups where students recite memory work, discuss ideas, and learn alongside other homeschooled children. The program is organized around the trivium โ Grammar, Dialectic (Logic), and Rhetoric stages โ matching instructional method to cognitive development.
The Grammar Stage program (ages 4-12) spans three cycles of 24 weeks each, covering seven subjects: Latin, history, English grammar, math, science, geography, and fine arts. Students memorize a specific set of facts each week โ called memory work โ and recite them in class. Logic Stage grammar adds writing and advanced English grammar. The Rhetoric Stage path serves junior and senior high students, introducing formal logic, rhetoric, research, and rigorous Latin via Henle First Year Latin.
Classical Quest is not affiliated with Classical Conversations Inc. We are an independent tool designed by a CC parent to help families practice and retain the memory work between Community Days. The resources here are meant to complement โ not replace โ what CC provides.

Grammar Stage memory work rotates through three cycles over three years. Here is what we have for each one.
Ancient history, Africa geography, biology, Latin noun endings, skip-counting math, and fine arts basics.
Medieval and Renaissance history, Europe geography, earth science, Latin verb conjugations, multiplication facts.
American and modern history, Americas geography, physical science, Latin prepositions, fraction and square-root math.
The classical journey spans three distinct stages, each with different expectations for students and parents. Here is what changes at each transition and how to prepare.
Logic Stage work adds formal writing instruction and a deeper English grammar curriculum alongside the continued Grammar Stage memory work. Students learn IEW writing, sentence analysis, and parsing. The workload increases noticeably in the middle elementary years.
The move into upper Latin is the biggest transition for many families. Latin moves from chants to Henle First Year Latin with real declension tables and translation. Science, history, and writing all become seminar-style rather than memory-work-based. Many families find this jump unexpectedly steep.
Later Logic Stage work deepens Latin through Henle lessons and adds formal logic. Rhetoric Stage work brings research papers and advanced math. Each year assumes the vocabulary and grammar from prior years โ consistent practice between sessions is essential.

Classical Quest supports Grammar Stage cycle review, Logic Stage grammar and Henle Latin practice, and Rhetoric Stage Latin continuation. The weekly memory work drill lets you select your current cycle and week so your student only sees what they are studying right now.
Classical Quest's Recitation Ready tool covers all eight Grammar Stage subjects with spaced repetition and oral proof simulation. Students can practice saying each fact aloud, track which ones they know cold, and identify gaps before Community Day.
Yes. Cycle 1 (ancient history, Africa, biology), Cycle 2 (medieval history, Europe, earth science), and Cycle 3 (American and modern history, Americas, physical science) are all supported. Geography drills match the specific region for each cycle.
Classical Quest aligns lesson-by-lesson with Henle First Year Latin. Vocabulary drills, grammar practice, and declension games make the jump into analytic Latin much less intimidating. See the Logic Stage guide in our blog for a complete overview.
