Combine like terms correctly when working in N, Z, Q (with absolute values), R (with ฯ and radicals), and C (with complex numbers) โ recognizing that unlike terms cannot be merged.

Only combine like terms โ same type, same variable, same form. 10ฯ and โ5 look like they could combine, but they can't: one is a multiple of ฯ, the other a multiple of โ5. They are different 'flavors,' and different flavors stay separate.
