Built for classical homeschool families
150+ English grammar items โ parts of speech, prepositions, pronouns, verbs, sentence patterns, clauses, and punctuation โ drilled with spaced repetition and aligned with classical curricula from Grammar Stage through Rhetoric Stage.

Which is a proper noun?
Identify nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, and the rest of the eight parts of speech โ one sentence at a time. Fast-paced multiple-choice makes grammar feel like a game rather than a worksheet.
Classical Quest English grammar practice aligns with the Classical Conversations memory work across all three Foundations cycles and the Essentials program. The content covers the same parts of speech, prepositions, pronouns, and sentence patterns that CC Essentials students review each week. It also works well alongside Well-Trained Mind grammar resources and other classical English programs.
Grammar Stage students (Kโ6th) use multiple-choice mode on simpler identification questions. The Essentials level (Logic Prep, roughly 4thโ6th) covers sentence patterns and clauses. Logic and Rhetoric Stage students (7thโ12th) get the full question bank including advanced sentence analysis and irregular-verb drills.
The irregular-verb drill presents the base (present) form of a verb and asks for either the simple past or the past participle. It covers the 150+ most commonly tested irregular verbs in classical programs. Typed-answer mode means spelling counts โ which is intentional, since many students can recognize a form without being able to produce it.
Yes โ Classical Quest is designed as practice, not curriculum delivery. Use your workbook to introduce concepts; use Classical Quest to drill them toward fluency. The spaced-repetition scheduler brings grammar rules back based on how well your student knows them.
